Betty H. Lightner

Betty H. Lightner, 90, Hollidaysburg, died early Monday morning at the Colonial Courtyard in Tyrone. She was born in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late Lewis L. and Nannie (Thomas) Miller. She married George L. Lightner on September 15, 1943 in Bellwood. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2003. Betty is survived two sons: Thomas E. and wife Mary of Hollidaysburg and George L., II and wife Ginny of Lexington, SC; one granddaughter: Elizabeth Winter and husband Tony; one sister: Joan Niswonger of CA; and one sister-in-law: Charmaine Miller of VA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Harpster and a brother, Lewis L., Jr. At Betty's request, there will be no viewing or services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
