Michael Richard Vanderlin

Michael Richard Vanderlin, 57, passed away early Monday morning at his home. He was born in Williamsport, son of the late Richard and Jeanne (McClaren) Vanderlin. Michael is survived by his children: Jennifer Schorner (Matthew), Timothy Card, Ashley, Rachael and Olivia Vanderlin, all of Altoona, and their mother, Stephanie Vanderlin; nine grandchildren; siblings: Ann Lundy, Karen Kancevicius, and Steve Vanderlin, all of Williamsport; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an unborn child. Michael was employed by Pyramid Healthcare as a Substance Abuse Counselor. A gathering of friends will be held, Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 3 until the 4 PM memorial service at the First Church of Christ, Juniata Gap Road, Altoona, 16601, with Pastor John Collins officiating. A meal will be provided immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
