Thomas F. Albright, 61, of Altoona, died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John Farrell and Joan (Myers) Albright. Surviving are his loving wife, Linda L. (Brandt) Albright of 43 years; two children: John Albright and Carla (Albright) Gill; two brothers: David Albright and Scott Albright; twin sister, Karen (Albright) Woodring; four grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great granddaughter. Tom worked for Conrail/Norfolk Southern and retired after 27 years as a mason. Those who knew Tom knew him to be a strong, ambitious, and hard-working man. He was blessed with wisdom and always gave great advice. He was kindhearted and caring. He took great pride in his craftsmanship abilities and greatly enjoyed helping others. Tom loved to fish, camp, swim, write and spend time with family and friends. He loved being outdoors. He was gifted in his ability to excel at anything that was thrown his way. He was loved and adored by many. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
