Ronald J. Halbritter

HALBRITTER, RONALD J., Age 76, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Altoona, on July 9, 2015. Beloved husband of Linda (Borella) Halbritter and the late Carol (Hecht) Halbritter; loving father of William (Deborah) Halbritter and Lori Ann (Patrick) Lillis; brother of Darlene, Debbie, David and the late Susan and Cheryl; proud Pap Pap of Aleshia, Adam Patrick, Julianna, Lauren, Austin, Kaiden and Giovanna; also survived by Linda's children Joseph Donald Borella and Francis Jason Borella and many nieces and nephews. Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a sports officiator for over 40 years, an usher at the Petersen Events Center, and most recently worked security at the media gate for the Pirates at PNC Park. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333) and on Wednesday from 11 AM until 2PM at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N. 4th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601 (814-942-4555). Interment and military honors to follow at Blair Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
