Lorna M. Pentland

Lorna M. Pentland, 78, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles M. and Mary P. (Weaver) Pope. She married Russell N. Pentland, April 12, 1957 in Altoona. In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is survived by a son, Russell C. and wife Rikki, of Blandburg; two grandchildren, Cody and Autumn Pentland; a sister, Susan K. Peck and husband Duane of Hollidaysburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Sue Pentland and a sister, Janet E. Heaster. Lorna retired from Sylvania, was a member of Grace Family Bible Church, and enjoyed traveling. Friends will be received Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, and Friday, November 13, 2015, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Pastor Jim Zaebst officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
