Leo D. Engelman, 72, Altoona, passed away Sunday evening at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Emil A. and Geraldine (Leaper) Engelman.
He is survived by seven siblings: Rev. Emil and wife Nancy of Dallastown, PA, Joan Gorman of Quarryville, PA, Dolores Patz and husband John of Altoona, Melvin and wife Marie of Altoona, Darlene Emigh of Roaring Spring, Jennifer Miller of Altoona, and Deborah Engelman of Altoona; many nieces and nephews; and he will be greatly missed by his special friends from the Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Marilyn.
Leo retired from Conrail and was a member of the Altoona Moose Lodge, #74 for over 46 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Friends will be received today, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
