Patricia A. “Patty” McCaulley, 78, Altoona, died Thursday at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert and Cora I. (Estep) Glasgow. On Nov. 19, 1955, she married Robert E. McCaulley, who preceded her in death on June 30, 1983.
Surviving are five daughters: Candice Himes (Joe), Cindy Aurandt (Bill), Sharon Greene and Susan Ball, all of Altoona, and Christine Miller (Randy) of Williamsburg; a son, Robert E. McCaulley Jr. (Lora) in Minnesota; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenny; a granddaughter, Summer; and two brothers: Gary and Ronald.
Patty believed in having a good education and had received licenses in cosmetology, real estate, and paralegal. She retired from Family Services of Blair County as a personal caregiver.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Dudley, and playing cards, going to bingo and dancing. She was a very giving person—of herself and whatever else she had to give.
Friends will be received from 6 to the 7 p.m. memorial service Monday, March 28, 2016, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata.
