Ralph C. Bream, Jr., 64, Altoona, passed away early Saturday morning at his home.
He was born in Gettysburg, son of the late Ralph C. Bream, Sr. and Pauline S. (Herring) Bream. He married Sharon L. Hemcher, June 19, 1969 in Altoona, PA at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years; his mother, of Gettysburg; two sons: Gregory R. and wife Trish of Pueblo, CO and Jonathan S. and wife Lisa of Ebensburg; a granddaughter, Amanda A. Bream of Pueblo, CO; a sister, Linda Curwood, of Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ralph attended Wehnwood United Methodist Church and was a member of the Bavarian Club and the Blair County Tea Party.
He retired from Norfolk Southern as a machinist and he served in the United States Army Reserve.
He enjoyed wood working, musky fishing, camping, riding his bike and John Deere tractor, going on cruises with his family, and spending time with his granddaughter.
Friends will be received, Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata where a funeral service will be held, Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. Pastor Evie Madison officiating. Interment at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
