Thomas E. Lightner

Thomas E. Lightner, 63, Hollidaysburg, passed away early Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late George L. and Betty Hazel (Miller) Lightner. He married Mary Kathryn Ciaverella on April 24, 1976 in Altoona.
In addition to his wife, Mary, of 40 years, he is survived by a brother, George L. Lightner, II (Ginny), of Lexington, SC; a niece, Elizabeth Winter (Anthony), of Atlanta, GA and their children, Graham and Will, and numerous brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.
Thomas was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired after 36 years of service from Penelec.
He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed hunting, golf, and especially gardening.
At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
