Francis A. Booterbaugh Sr.

Francis A. Booterbaugh, Sr., 81, Altoona, died Thursday morning, September 15, 2016, at his home.  He was born May 27, 1935, in Altoona, a son of the late Ira Joseph Booterbaugh and Samantha (Vaughn) Booterbaugh. 

He married Nancy L. Runk, who survives with seven children;  Ira Booterbaugh, Francis A. Jr., Marie Warrender, Betty Cote, Charles Nearhoof, Patricia Minor, Debbie Weaver, many grandchildren, one sister Edna Booterbaugh, one brother Harry Booterbaugh and several nieces.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Wheeler and one son, Terry Nearhoof.

                He worked as a truck driver and served in the Air Force.

                At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service.
