Lois E. Tussey

Lois E. Tussey, 92, Altoona, passed away early Monday morning at Golden Living – Hillview.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Harry Lewis and Sadie (Haupt) Mentzer. She married Richard E. Tussey on November 3, 1945 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Juniata. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1988.
Lois is survived by a daughter, Carol E. Paul of Altoona; a granddaughter, Jennifer Paul (Neil McGovern) of Mt. Pocono, PA; a great-grandson, Finn McGovern; a sister, Helen Boyles of Westminster, MD; two brother-in-law’s: Frank Tussey (Roseanne) of California and Ed Sharrar of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was a 1941 graduate of Altoona High School and worked as a secretary for Traveler’s Insurance.
She was a member of the former Third Presbyterian Church and enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Interment at Keller Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 408 N 6th Street, Altoona, 16601.
