   Helen Joann (Seymour) Boyles, 75, Altoona, died Sunday morning, October 23, 2016, at UPMC-Altoona, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
   She was born June 16, 1941, in Claysburg, a daughter of Jennie L. (Garber) Croft.  She married Roy J. Boyles on August 12, 1988.  She was previously married to Ronald Hughes and James Forshey, both of whom preceded her in death.
   Surviving are her husband, Roy, five children, Chester R. Forshey, Jr. and his fiance', Lisa Lanzendorfer of Osterburg, PA, Diana L. Martin (Robert)of Murfreesboro, TN, Michael C. Forshey (Shelley) of Altoona, PA, Michele Haynes (Dan) of Blairsville, PA, Matthew Boyles (Brittney) of Pittsburgh, PA, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, six step-children and numerous extended family members. Also surviving are two sisters, Sandra Lawrence (John) of East Freedom, PA, Deborah Croft of Duncansville, PA and one brother, Gary Croft of Duncansville, PA.
   Joann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.  She worked hard and was the caregiver to many family members over the years.  She unselfishly shared her time and love any way she could.  We will all miss her.
   Joann was happily married to Roy Boyles for 28 years.  They made a great couple together.
   Her grandchildren, Jendy and Michael (Mikie) Forshey, Jr., were the lights of her life and she loved having them stay over and visit.
   Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016 and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. James House, officiating.  Interment will be at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
