Victoria L. Johnson, 61, Altoona, died Thursday afternoon at Ridgeview Health & Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville, due to complications from cancer.
She was born in Tyrone, a daughter of Betty L. (Pacnowski) Shock and the late James F. Shock, Sr. She married Carl A. Johnson, Jr., on November 6, 1976 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Altoona.
Surviving is her husband of 40 years, two sons: Carl A. and Erik S., both of Altoona; two sisters: Deborah Reed (Michael) of Altoona and Lisa Trimm (Jeff), of Virginia Beach, VA; her mother, Betty Shock; eight nieces and nephews; and 11 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ryan J. Johnson and two brothers: James F. Shock, Jr. and Kenneth Shock.
Victoria was a 1973 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family and dogs.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata where there will be a prayer vigil during the visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday November 30, 2016, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Twp.
