Maryanna M. Bollinger, 93, Altoona, died Sunday evening at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Earl C. and Florence (Young) Busch. She married William S. Bollinger on November 19, 1941, in Cumberland, MD. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1994.
Surviving are two sons: John R. in Williamsburg, PA and Donald P. of Palmyra, PA; one daughter, Carol Wagner of St. Petersburg, FL; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons: Thomas R., Allen F., and William E.; a daughter, Darlene Gipson; a brother, Francis G. Busch; and a sister, Kathleen Hanley.
During her working years she worked as a factory worker at Sylvania, Boyers, Puritan, and retired as a machine operator at U.S. Envelope in Williamsburg, PA.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Altoona. Her hobbies included crocheting, macramé, and bingo.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2016 at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 806 13th Street, Altoona, 16602. Fr. Josh Shipman officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Twp.
