Clarence Ralph Keith, Jr.

Clarence Ralph Keith, Jr., 90, formerly of Juniata Gap, Altoona, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, at UPMC-Altoona.

He was born in Altoona the son of the late Clarence Keith, Sr., and Ruth (Suckling) Keith.  On April 30, 1949, he married the love of his life, Helen Florene (Earnest) Keith.

Surviving are his wife, Florene, two daughters; Dianne Martel and husband John and Leslie Troxell of Altoona, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Timothy Keith, a sister Jean Smith and a brother Robert Keith.

Clarence was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School.  He worked for Insurance Services Office as a fire insurance ratings inspector and later he and his wife owned and operated a retail store, Keith's Country Casuals.

Clarence was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Altoona, where he served as a Deacon and also on the Board of Trustees and was active in the Faithful Followers Sunday School class.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11:00 a.m., memorial service on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Ronald R. Anderson, officiating.  Entombment at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 810 Ruskin Drive, Altoona, PA.
