Harold W. Seilhamer

Harold W. Seilhamer, “Sonny”, 88, Altoona, passed away early Monday morning at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Pinecroft, PA, a son of the late John E. and Arvada V. (Sparks) Seilhamer. In 1973, he married Kathryn E. Stewart in Altoona. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2001.
Harold is survived by four children: Susan Kaye Ryan (Jim), Harold W., Jr. (Diane). Marilyn Jean Fouse (Dave) and Zane J. Seilhamer (Kathy); two step-daughters: Sharlene K. Kearney (Bill) and Bonnie L. James; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Harold graduated from Bellwood Antis High School. He was employed by Sky Brothers as a supervisor and retired in March of 1986.
He was a member of Grace Bible Church and enjoyed talking on CB Radios. He was an avid sports fan and also played many sports. He coached football, baseball, and softball.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Pastor Lou Hileman officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
