September 16, 2004 — May 18, 2017

Wyatt James Lansberry, 12, Altoona, passed away Thursday.

He was born in State College, son of Marc Jon Lansberry and Terri Anne Bradford.

Surviving are his parents, of Altoona; special mother, Danielle Arlene Lansberry, of Altoona; three siblings: Brooke E. Lansberry of Altoona, LCpl Dakota M. Lansberry and wife, LCpl Ashley, in North Carolina and Kalvin L. Moyle of Pleasant Gap; paternal grandparents: Mike and Linda Lansberry and Gary and Joyce Hoffman, all of Altoona; maternal grandparents, Tim and Karen Bradford, of Pleasant Gap; uncles and aunts: Tracy and Michelle Saylor, of Duncansville, Michael and Denise Lansberry, of Altoona, and John and Malissa Packer, of Lilly; and many loving cousins and relatives.

Wyatt was a silly kid who loved to goof around and make others laugh. He was a straight A student and aspired to be a Marine like his brother. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking, riding his bike and making fires in the backyard with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, especially cooking and making blacksmith stuff. He collected knives and flags from around the world. His twin cousins, Aubry and Eva, adored him, and he lit up the room wherever he was.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Altoona Bible Church, 3017 Union Ave., Altoona, where a luncheon will immediately follow the service. Interment will be made at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
