Donna J. Thompson, 81, Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Charles T., Sr. and Mary (Feathers) Fawks. On December 9, 1955, she married Harold E. Thompson in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1991.
Donna is survived by five children: Sally A. Lockard (Stephen) of Altoona, Harold E. Thompson, Jr. of Red Lion, PA, Robert L. Thompson (Catherine) of Altoona, Kenneth P. Thompson (Lisa) of Altoona, and Scott A. Thompson (Bonita) of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two brothers: Kenny Fawks of Altoona and Pete Fawks of North Carolina; and a brother-in-law, Robert Schall of Springhill, FL.
Donna enjoyed spending time with family and eating out.
Friends will be received from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, care of Sally Lockard.
