Nancy L. Stotler, 70, Altoona, passed away early Friday morning at her home.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Paul and Hannah (Leidy) Roub. On December 12, 1965, she married Robert S. Stotler in Curryville. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2002.
She is survived by four children: Lisa Shearer (Wayne) of Altoona, Timothy Stotler (Alma), Thomas Stotler (Sandie), and Kathy Stevens-Hatch (Adam), all of Altoona; 23 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; four sisters: Ethel Saylor of Williamsburg, Doris Stoner of Mechanicsburg, Genevieve Gathagan (Clair) of Utahville, and Joyce Lovell (Nelson) of Allmansville; and close friend, Ronald Pruznak.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Pearl Leonard, Martha Pierce, Ruth Smith.
Nancy retired from the Altoona Hospital in 2011 after 36 years of service as a Nephrology Unit Assistant.
She was a member of the Juniata Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and children and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, August 28, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating. Interment will be made at Logan Valley Cemetery, Antis Township.
