Thomas A. Campbell, 55, Altoona, died Sunday at the Fulton County Medical Center, following a tragic motorcycle accident near McConnelsburg.
He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Robert M. and Maryann (Steele) Campbell. He married Shelda Risbon on May 12, 1984 at the Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church in Altoona.
He is survived by his wife, Shelda; one daughter, Brittany and husband Trey Horton; one son, Tommy Campbell; one brother, Brian Campbell, all of Altoona; one sister, Linda Campbell of Harrisburg; two step-sisters: Janet Dillen and Patty Baldessaro, both of Altoona; one grandson, Tallen Horton of Altoona; and his step-mother, Leona T. Campbell of Altoona.
Tom worked as a delivery driver at Lowes for almost 16 years. He attended the 4th Street Church of God, Altoona. He was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and studied Drafting at Vo-Tec of Altoona.
His hobbies included four wheeling, motorcycles, classic music and movies. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially loved playing with his grandson.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
