Alice M. Hanna, 82, Altoona, passed away Saturday evening at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Anthony and Magdeline (Gurna) Lawruk. She was twice married, first to James Ball, who preceded her in death, then on September 9, 1972, she married Harry W. Hanna who preceded her in death on May 11, 2016.
Surviving are three children: Michael Ball (Dawn) of Altoona, MaryJo Palmer in Maryland, and Gary Hanna (Mary) of Altoona; five grandchildren: Matthew, Madison, Jarrett, Makayla, and John; two brothers: Maurice and Adam; and two sisters: Olga Romanowicz and Jennie Cramer.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Joseph, Raymond, Donald, and Walter.
She was a graduate of Altoona High School, class of 1954. She was formerly employed by Saf T bak and retired from Tritex where she worked in the sewing department. Alice was a member of the VFW Auxiliary (Fort Apache) in Juniata.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, bingo, gardening, and going to stock car races.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2017, and from 10 until the 11 a.m., Funeral service, Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
