Nora Elizabeth Hoover

Nora Elizabeth Hoover, 82, Altoona, passed away Thursday evening at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Paul C., Sr., and R. Beatrice (Rabenstein) Stauffer. She married Kenneth Dale Hoover, who preceded her in death on August 17, 2015.
Nora is survived by a daughter, Tonja Marie Hoover of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul C. Stauffer, Jr. in 2006 and Wilbur J. Stauffer in 2017.
She was a graduate of Altoona High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hollidaysburg First United Methodist Church and enjoyed crafts.
An informal gathering of friends will be held with a pot luck lunch at noon on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the fellowship hall at the Hollidaysburg First United Methodist Church, 801 Allegheny Street, Hollidaysburg, 16648. Friends are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
