Gordon G. Zeak

Gordon G. Zeak, 71, Altoona, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center.

He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Gordon A. and Bernadette (O'Neill) Zeak. On September 25, 1965, he married Eileen P. Scheungrab at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altoona.

He addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Zeak Williams of Altoona.

Gordon was a graduate of Altoona High School. He retired after 34 years of service as a Machinist Welder from Norfolk Southern.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

A burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington County, VA at a later date.
