Brian D McConnell, II

Brian D. McConnell, II, 19, Cresson, died Monday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of Brian and April (McCaulley) McConnell.

Brian is survived by his mother April (Scott Garman), his father Brian McConnell, his siblings Kierstan and Nicholas McConnell; his step-brother Mike Hamel; his grandmother Ann McConnell; his aunt Wendy Dunkel of PA, aunt Mellissa Conrad, uncle Ron McConnell, uncle Don McConnell, uncle Kevin McConnell, and aunt Diane Shiffler, all of Altoona; as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald McConnell, his grandfather William McCaulley, and his grandmother Janet Sawyers and his uncle Dave McConnel.

Brian graduate from high school when living in Montana. He enjoyed Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler football, gaming with family and friends, music, playing basketball with his sister, and watching his favorite shows and movies, such as the Family Guy and Harry Potter. He especially enjoyed encouraging others, and was always willing to help people.

Friends will be received from 2-4 PM Monday, March 26, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a memorial service will be held at 4 PM. Interment will be private.
