Mildred Irene LaCava Post

Mildred Irene LaCava Post, 92, Altoona, passed away Monday at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Olive Nash. Mildred was twice married. She first married James Crawrford LaCava in August of 1947. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1964. She then married Paul Post in November of 1978. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Mildred is survived by five children: Margie Robinson (Thomas) of Michigan, James E. LaCava of Michigan, James Post (Chris), Charlie Post, and Edward Post; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Stewart.
Mildred was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was active in the Auxiliary at church. She was a member of the Eastern Star and loved to dance.
Friends will be received from 10:30 until the 11 a.m. funeral mass on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 900 N 4th Street, Altoona, 16601 with the Very Rev. Ronald V. Osinski V.F. officiating. Interment will be made at Calvary cemetery, Altoona.
