Joseph W Sorrick

Joseph H. Sorrick, 79, Altoona, died Friday at Epworth Manor, Tyrone. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Fred W. and Ethel Sorrick, Sr.

Surviving are his son Eric Sorrick and granddaughter Shelby Sorrick of Warriors Mark; one brother Fred W. Sorrick, Jr, and his wife Wilma, of Allentown; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Joseph was a graduate of Altoona High School, and had served in the U.S. Army. He retired after many years of service from Macdad Industrial Supply in Altoona. He enjoyed draft horses, farming, anything agricultural, and spending time with his family.

Services for Joseph are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg.
