Marjorie Nixon Kline, 90, Hollidaysburg, passed away early Tuesday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late William and Madeline (Swartz) Nixon. On May 29, 1971, she married the love of her life, Donald Kline, at Good Shepherd Church in Altoona. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2015.
Marjorie is survived by five children: Joel Gibson and husband, John Martines, of Seattle, WA, Jonathan Gibson and wife, Leslie, of Hollidaysburg, Cindy Feigert and husband, Bill of Colorado, Jamin Gibson and partner, Robert Copeland, of Shiremanstown, PA, and Scott Kline and wife, Julie, of Altoona; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Richards, of Winter Springs, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Gibson; a sister, Josephine Wertz; and her first husband, Milton Gibson.
Marjorie was a graduate of Altoona High School. She worked in customer service at Bell Telephone before staying home to care for her children.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg and a lifelong member of Park Hills Country Club. She loved to paint, play golf, and enjoyed playing Mexican Train and Bridge, monthly. She loved family dinners and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg, 801 Allegheny Street, Hollidaysburg, 16648. Pastor John Godissart officiating.
