Kathleen Blontz

June 19, 1957 — May 22, 2018

Kathleen (Gallagher) Blontz , known to friends as “Kathy,” passed away on May 22, 2018 at the age of 60 years.

A native of Altoona, she earned an Associate in Specialized Technology degree in Medical Assistance from YTI Career Institute. Kathy was happiest in the company of her friends, watching true crime shows, and playing with her grandson.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kelly (Dennis) Hill, and the light of her life, her grandson, Connor. Kathy will also be forever remembered by her brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Wilma Gallagher, her brother, Mark Gallagher, and her faithful companion, Buddy.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 1, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Central PA Humane Society.
