Veronica Estella Blake

Veronica “Vera” Blake passed at home on Wednesday, July 27, 2018, at the age of 94. Vera is survived by several siblings and extended family members. After several decades in California, Vera moved back to her native Pennsylvania to live with her younger sister, Shirley Anderson, and fulfill her wish to live out her last days surrounded by family. Vera was a fiery lady who brought much joy to her extended family. She never really left her decades-long career as a cosmetician behind; she loved to be dressed to the nines, and always had her hair done, lipstick on, nails painted and jewelry in place. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Veronica’s remains will be scattered in the Pacific Ocean. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Veronica’s name to the American Cancer Society
