Beulah M. Igou

Beulah M. Igou, 89, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Skelp, daughter of the late Victor and Mary Dickson. She married Donald Igou, who survives her.

Also surviving is her son Terry Igou, her son Don Igou (Carol), one grandson, Kyle Igou; and one sister Nancy Britton.

Beulah was a graduate of Tyrone High School. She served for many years caring for elderly persons with various private duty caregiving services. She attended Altoona Restoration Church. She loved the outdoors, animals-especially Yorkshire Terriers, gardening, reading the Bible, doing crosswords, and enjoyed family gatherings and beach trips. For years, she also entered the Sinking Valley Farm Show in various events, winning many times.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 10 until the 12 noon funeral service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Interment at Logan Valley Cemetery.
