Dolores “Dee” Pletcher Riggleman, 86, Martinsburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrix (Everett) Vickers.
Dee is survived by five children: Spring Aikens (Don) of Florida, Cynthia Pletcher of Martinsburg, Pamela Gray (Doug) of Altoona, Paula Gardner (Drew) of North Carolina, and Paul Pletcher II (Charlotte) of Osterburg; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Cupp of Colorado; and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Paul E. Pletcher, father of their children in 2006 and Clair Riggleman in 2011; and a brother, Neal Vickers.
Dee worked at multiple retail establishments, Sheetz, and retired from Blair Senior Services working for Meals On Wheels. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, caregiver, and a great listener. She was very selfless and loved the Lord. She was a talented artist and loved to dance and play cards. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Hillside Community Church, 508 Cambria Street, Bellwood, 16617 with the Pastor Ken Beichler officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
