Helen Florence Keith, 91, formerly of Juniata Gap, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
She was born in Everett, PA, daughter of the late George Raymond Earnest and Helen (Bennett) Earnest.
On April 30, 1949, she married Clarence Ralph Keith, who preceded her in death on February 25, 2017.
Surviving are two daughters: Dianne Martel (John) and Leslie Troxell, all of Altoona; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother Ronald Eugene Earnest (Ruth) of Cincinnati, OH.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy, a sister, Eleanor Hoopes and a brother Kenneth Earnest.
Florence was a 1945 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a secretary, then a homemaker and later she and Clarence owned and operate a retail store, Keith’s Country Casuals.
She was longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Altoona, where she was active in the Faithful Followers Senior group, junior church teacher, and helped with the Live Nativity.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 AM memorial service, Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Ronald R. Anderson, officiating.
Entombment at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 810 Ruskin Drive, Altoona, Pa, 16602.
