Randall C. Donlan

Randall C. Donlan, 69, Altoona, passed away early Monday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness.

He was born in Altoona, son of Robert and C. Louise (Houser) Donlan. On Nov. 24, 1972, he married Nancy Sellers in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Donlan; three children: Carey Williams and husband, Martin, Robert E. Donlan and wife, Brigitte, and Brian Donlan and wife, Melanie; seven grandchildren: Andy, Caitlin, Abby, Ethan, Hannah, Emily and Zachary; his mother, Louise Donlan; two sisters: Lou Ann Donlan and Vicki Latoche; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. E. Donlan.

Randall was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hancock during the Vietnam War. He then came home and worked for Conrail for five years, and then at McCartney's, where he retired from as service department manager after 33 years of service.

He enjoyed photography, especially outdoors involving the railroad, and was a member of the ABC Photography Society. He was also a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.

Randall enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, spending time with family in his swimming pool as well as at the ocean, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He very much loved and was proud of his family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, March 29, 2019, at Providence Presbyterian Church, Broad Avenue, 2401 Broad Ave., Altoona, Pastor Dennis Braun officiating. Interment will be at Canoe Creek Cemetery.
