Stanley R. Tallman

Stanley R. Tallman, 70, Altoona, passed away early Friday morning at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center.
He was born in Bend, Oregon, son of the late William R. and Arlene (Christy) Tallman. On June 7, 1986 he married Kristina King in Altoona.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, he is survived by five children: Julie Emerick of Altoona, Tony Tallman (Angie) of Fernwood, Idaho, Kim Tornatore of Coalport, David Hollibaugh (Nichole) of Altoona, and Keri Jack (Billy) of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Stanley retired after 20 years of service from the United States Air Force where he served as a Staff Sergeant/E5. He worked in shipping and supplies and for the last five years of his career, he worked as a radar operator in Virginia Beach.
He loved to camp and especially enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He also enjoyed working on arts and crafts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Restored Apostolic Ministries, 1500 N 6th Avenue, Altoona, 16601.
