Cherie DelGrosso

November 17, 1933 — April 19, 2019

Cherie M. DelGrosso, 85, Altoona, passed away at her home on Friday, April 19, 2019. She was born in Irvona, daughter of the late Theodore and Eunice (Gates) Fagan. She married Frank DelGrosso in 1953; he preceded her in death 08/08/2000.

Surviving is her daughter Lucinda J. Robertazzi, her grandson Joseph Robertazzi, III, her granddaughter Joyce Haggans and her husband Will; 2 great-grand-daughters: Trinity and Cayla Haggans; four siblings: Charmaine Rudnick and family, Ruth Finch (George) and family, Theo Sinclair (Ronald) and family, and Sue Irvin (Zane) and family; many cousins; as well as special friends Sarah Wolfe, Julie and Chuck Lerch, and Mary Jacobs.

Cherie will be remembered as one who helped others whenever she had the opportunity.

Cherie had worked at Sylvania in the assembly department. She was a graduate of BCI High School in Cambria County, and enjoyed bingo, baking and cooking, and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, April 26, 2019, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a funeral will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Beth Pyles, officiating. Interment at Beaver Valley Cemetery.
